Do I need my garage door repaired or replaced?

What should I do if my garage door won't open and is stuck?

If you need to get out of your garage, you can pull the emergency release on your garage door system as a temporary solution to getting yourself or your car out of the garage.
My garage door goes down a little bit and then suddenly stops, what's the issue?
If you press your remote, keypad, or wall console button to close your garage door and it stops and reverses, this could be because something is blocking your safety sensors or photo eyes. Look to see if something is blocking these sensors, remove it, and then try closing your garage again. If it’s still happening, try cleaning off your sensors.
